[edit] Logo
I added the information about who did the logo and when it was introduced and taken the image from the name field and placed it alongside the information. There is further discussion about whether band logos should appear in the information box at Template talk:Infobox Musical artist.--Alf melmac 12:43, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Other genres
Ensiferum, like such bands as Wintersun has elements of many genres, not just Viking and folk metal. However, we have to decide which of there are worth mentioning. I have plenty of reliable sources saying thrash metal, power metal, melodic death metal, black metal etc. (some of which are ridiculous). I will give some of you some time to decide which would best fit and if you don't decide, I will. So far i think only melodeath is worth a mention. Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 22:47, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- I think melodic death metal really should get a mention, it's clear that they started on this mostly when Petri Lindroos joined but I think they've always carried the style, although in a very different way. Saying they're power metal is just dumb, while any mention of black metal is a ridiculous/inane 'choice' for genres. Also, if theres too much upheaval over the genres "reviewer experts" chose, then I think there should be some review thing about the All Music Guide metal genre usage as a reference "crisis" and many other sites deemed unreliable in heavy metal subgenres by the masses. −₪ÇɨгcaғucɨҲ₪ kaiden 05:17, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- Ensiferum are not Melodeath! They're Viking and Folk metal. That's all. Look at metal-archives.com. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.169.108.106 (talk) 11:57, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- That can't be used as a source. And Ensiferum do have elements of melodic death metal, I don't care what metal-archives says. Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 23:12, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
