Emotional transmission is the idea that an individual's emotions influence the emotions of those around them. It includes the idea that one's emotional state at work can be carried over to one's home. Thus, if one has tense interpersonal relations at work, one may carry that home and then have tense interpersonal relations with individuals at one's home.
