Hi, Hope you don't mind but I've changed a couple of references in the D-League article back to "NBDL" - in my view, the fact that they only changed the name officially in summer '05 means that when the article is talking about pre-2005 happenings, the league's name should be NBDL (the NBA didn't "start recruiting players from the D-League" in 2002, because there was no such thing, and players like Alston or Brown were definitely hyped as making the step up from "the NBDL" at the time). What do you think? Obviously you're very closely connected with the league so if you feel strongly that it should be called D-League throughout, I won't get into some kind of petty argument over it! 81.110.86.44 07:30, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I can see where you're coming from and agree with you, especially where the name ends up being anachronistic. Your reverts are fine. Eric 04:53, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] NBADL, edit summaries
Eric, (great name :o) )
Thanks for taking up the reigns on the NBADL pages. I've been wanting to improve those for quite a while but simply haven't had the time. I'd just like to encourage you to use edit summaries for all of your edits, even the minor ones. It makes it much easier for other editors to browse your changes. If you have any questions about Wikipedia and its policies (or anything else for that matter), feel free to leave a message on my talk page. Thanks, and keep up the good work! [edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:Wacky edited.jpg
| This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Wacky edited.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted after seven days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:04, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] USRD Inactivity check and news report
Hello, EMcCutchan. We had a few urgent matters to communicate to you:
- Please update your information at Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Participants, our new centralized participant list. Those who have not done so by October 20th will be removed.
- There are important discussions taking place at WT:USRD relating to whether WP:USRD, WP:HWY, or the state projects should hold the "power" in the roads projects.
