[edit] Criticism Section

Hi all,

I just saw the 'Criticism' section for the first time today, and wanted to say that I'm not sure that it belongs here, in an encylopedia, which is for recording matters of fact, rather than opinions.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Neutral_point_of_view

The first Criticism could be said to be reported player's criticisms of the software, but should be sourced with independent sources that confirm the criticism.

The newly-added Criticism seems much more like a point of view rather than a statement of fact.

Please let me know what you think about this! If I don't hear back, I'm going to re-edit to make the section more Neutral Point of View.

Thanks,

Rich Lem 00:30, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

NPOV applies to Wikipedia editors, not to opinions from third party sources. - A Link to the Past (talk) 01:13, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
How about the fact that it is only available online in the United States (other than EB Games, it's the same in Canada)? TJ Spyke 08:38, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Non-related Links?

These links:

  1. Songs created by Merleon Cedraeon.
  2. Songs created by Random Ambient

don't seem to be directly related to Electroplankton (even though there's some cool ambient music there!). Unless someone can clarify their relevance I'm going to remove them in a day or two. Thanks! Rich Lem 21:25, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rename

The page should be moved to Electroplankton since this is the correct capitalization of the title. K1Bond007 03:05, May 24, 2005 (UTC)

This article has been renamed as the result of a move request. violet/riga (t) 10:29, 28 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] fictional animal category?

Under what fictional animal category should this be filed under? I know very little about marine biology. Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 08:34, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Europe date

I added a note about its Euro release in April, but don't know how to integrate this properly with the info box thingy on the right - would be great if someone could do this.

Took care of it...kinda. Jedi6-(need help?) 03:56, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Plankton control/Plankton

Couldn't those two sections be merged together? It seems redundant to have both. Curtmack 22:22, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

  • I agree, I belive this is a little much havign two sections saying basicaly the same thing. Do you think we should move the larger information up or the upper information down? also should we condense these per WP:NOT

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Electroplankton.jpg

Image:Electroplankton.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:00, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Shouldent it be mentioned that in Super Smash Bros. Brawl that there's a stage based on electroplacnkton?
