El Leon (Spanish for The Lion) Released in 1992 was the seventh album from the Argentine Ska, Reggae band Los Fabulosos Cadillacs.
This work combine all the genres used by the Cadillacs making main enphasis in Caribbean rhythms: Salsa, Calipso and Reggae resulting in an essecial album in history of Argentine rock.
A good part of the songs from the album were released as singles having good success like "Desapariciones" by the panamanian songwriter Ruben Blades
The variety in genres is expresed in the Carnival hymn "Carnaval Toda la Vida" and "Gitana", The Ska in "Manuel Santillan El Leon", the ballad is present with "Siguiendo la luna", finally Reggae and Salsa in "El Agijon" and "Crusero del Amor".
