Talk:Eksman
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
thanks to whoever made a proper article about him
- what are the concerns as to the tone of the article? page is objective, factual and not any more biased than any of the other pages for musicians on wikipedia?

- For example:
- "until he felt ready to take what he had nurtured for so many years to the forefront of the scene"
- "These two events saw him catapult onto the scene literally taking people and places by storm."
- "His success story is one that is made from legend"
- "Since then Eksman has gone from strength to strength"
- "hugely successful radio station"
- "tight lyrical flow and very technical vocal trickery in order to hype the crowd"
- "the undisputed Number 1 MC in drum & bass"
- There is a huge difference between fan enthusiasm and encyclopedic enthusiasm. The former has no place of its own in Wikipedia, only as an auxiliary to the latter. Write about what you want to write and honour your favourite MC in the one way appropriate at and compatible with Wikipedia: by writing a better article about him, referenced, neutral and without any original research. Ok that's fair enough - points taken
to be honest the page was a very rough 1st draft with most of it cut & pasted from various sites around the net.
- As far as original research, there is very little information on the guy online (if you can find some please do add it)
- I disagree with your comment about the neutrality of "style & delivery", how else can you describe a musician's delivery without making it sound like a technical manual? Eg - Slash "technical guitar player, with roots in blues, who plays solos mainly based upon the minor pentatonic scale". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.150.102.106 (talk) 09:22, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- Copypasting copyrighted material is not allowed. Is there any such material left in the article? Btw, that's why we always have to cite our sources. Please add the sources used in the article by following the advice at WP:CITE#HOW. Dorftrottel (canvass) 18:53, April 11, 2008
