[edit] Private Schools

This article states that private schools receive government funds and must hire accredited teachers and follow the government curriculum. However, an exception is made for "registered private schools". See http://www.education.gov.ab.ca/educationsystem/choices.asp

These schools are not subject to the same government control and do not have the follow the curriculum or hire accredited teachers. --The Four Deuces 21:58, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
