[edit] Cleanup and expansion

I have somewhat cleaned up and expanded this article, however, it still needs so much work, and unfortunately I'm not close to this corps at all and don't really know much about it. If a Wikipedian has served in this corps (and I'm sure there is someone somewhere...), please include whatever information you know, and I will attempt to string it into a coherent article.
