Mjroots (talk · contribs) I've just achieved my 12,000th edit and I'd like some feedback on what I'm doing right, and what I'm doing wrong. Mjroots (talk) 07:49, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Reviews
- What you're doing wrong is assuming your value as a contributor is somehow reflected by your edit count :) -- Gurchzilla (talk) 22:24, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- Reply I'm not assuming that edit count makes me a more valued contributor than someone with say, 500 edits. It's the actual contributions that count overall. As I'd reached that milestone I thought I'd ask for a review. Am mulling over whether to go for admin at some point in the future and I think a review would be worthwhile. - I'm concerned about this edit. The windmill article already lost its GA status due to uncited claims. More uncited addtions such as this only weaken the article further. What you added is likely true so should be easy to source. I'm also unfamiliar with the method you chose to add the interwiki link. I just wanted to put in my 2¢ since you asked. Best of luck! →Wordbuilder (talk) 21:00, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
- Reply I've added a ref, and removed the height quoted - I have that in a book which is currently packed away pending a house move, will re-add that once I can get to the book again. I thought the Dutch article would be sufficient as a reference, along with the picture, which clearly shows how a tjasker is constructed. Mjroots (talk) 21:17, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
-
- Alaska Coastal Airlines, an article which I was asked to create by Blofeld of SPECTRE. All I knew about them before starting the article was that they had sold an aircraft to Reeve Aleutian Airways. Am also pleased with the MS Riverdance article, which I've done virtually all the work on since she grounded at the end of January.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- I try not to get into conflicts with other editors. If an issue i raised I'm happy to address it to the best of my ability. If I'm wrong I will admit it and apologise. If I think i'm right, I will argue my case. I think the nearest I've get to a dispute was on Cowl (oast) but I think I argued my case well, and everything was settled quickly.
