Dendodge (talk ยท contribs) I would like an editor review so I know what to improve. I eventually want the mop but I think I should improve my editing before I apply for adminship. George D. Watson (Dendodge).TalkHelp 21:54, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Hiya Dendodge.
- RFA. Sorry, but I would suggest waiting 3-6 more months before submitting an RFA (considering the current consensus about 4 month candidates). By this time you will be an extremely well qualified candidate! I know that you've submitted a request for admin coaching and I strongly support this. I actually had plans to ask to be your coach, but I decided my current activity level with 4 coachees is a bit to strenuous. Your answers to the questions below could use some touch-ups, as they aren't really up to RFA standards. Well anyway, on to the rest of the review...
- Help desk. Very good job here. You've made 449 edits to the Help Desk. This shows a willingness to help other users and is a great activity. You should definitely continue your work there.
- XFD Here's where you could use some work. I see in your last 500 edits only one deletion discussion. My suggestion is to get in on maybe 3 or 4 XFDs every time you log on. Most will not trust an admin with the deletion button if they haven't put in serious work there.
- Vandal-fighting'. Everything looks pretty good here. Remember you need quality over quantity when it comes to this.
- CSD patrol. This also looks pretty good. Like I said for vandal fighting: "quality over quantity".
- Article content. You have a GA in Kristallnacht which is very good. I would like to see even more contributions here in the future, and maybe you could get Kristallnacht to FA status.
- Userpage. Just wanna say that IMO, you should move your userboxes to a subpage and take all of the created article tags at the top of your userpage down and put them into prose. Both make your page look messy (and the more articles you write, the messier it will get).
Hope this helps! Malinaccier (talk) 01:02, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
- PS, I would be willing to coach you later on if you are willing. I would also be willing to nominate/co-nominate you for adminship after the time I mentioned above. Malinaccier (talk) 01:03, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, I was going to wait 6 months or so before applying anyway, and your nomination would be great. As for the coachng, I don't want you to take on more than you can handle but I would willingly accept. I'll sort my userpage in an hour or so (I don't have time now) and will certainly take your advice on board!...... Dendodge .. TalkHelp 12:54, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- I'm proud of all my edits. If I had to choose I'd say my attempts at reverting vandalism or Stephano (Shakespeare). Reverting vandalism makes me feel good and Stephano (Shakespeare)'s the best article I've ever created. I am also pleased about how much I expanded Pleasure Island Family Theme Park, and I am pleased about getting Wikipedia access to be allowed by my school, as they previously blocked it so it was inaccessible. A letter I sent to my school's IT technician got it unblocked (and me appointed in charge of moderating Wikipedia within my school).
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- I have not experienced either of the above and hope not to in the future. However, if I do, I hope to remain calm and composed while I attempt to peacefully end the conflict. Once somebody vandalised my talk page a couple of times after I warned them about vandalism but it settled down quickly and I didn't bite.
