This describes about 90% of rock singers. Care to elaborate?

It's worth noting that Ed has write most of Collective Soul's songs, but 'Dandy Life' from Dosage was written by Ross Childress, and Ed has acknowledged his brother Dean's contribution on Compliment (although it does not seem to be indicated on the album).
