Some more could be said about Broadbent's political views, including quotes. By the way, is he really a social democrat or is he a socialist who belongs to a social democratic party? - no name


I find his Biography strange that it says they had no children and only adopted. I would like to suggest it is re-worked as follows;


That year, he married a young Franco-Ontarian widow, Lucille Munroe; the couple also adopted a baby girl, Christine and Ed became the stepfather to Lucille's son Paul Broadbent, who is a defence policy specialist with the Ministry of Defence in London, England.
