Ed Chlebek was a head football coach at Boston College, Eastern Michigan University, and Kent State University. He came to Eastern from Notre Dame, where he coached Joe Montana. At Eastern Michigan, he compiled a 10-12 record from 1976 to 1977. At Boston College, he compiled a 12-21 record. He coached the only winless season in school history at 0-11 in 1978. From 1981 to 1982, he coached Kent State to a 4-18 record. He ended his college career on a 12 game losing streak. From Kent State he went to the Toronto Argonauts as the Offensive Coordinator in 1983. The Argonauts won the Grey Cup in 1983, the Canadian version of the United States Super Bowl.
