[edit] Darfur quotation

I'm going to remove the Darfur quotation. I cannot seem to find any source for it; searching for part of it in Google only returns this article and mirrors. If we can find a source, we should re-add it.—Clipdude 21:30, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Citations

Good job on the referencing, who ever did it. It seems like all articles should have this many refs. The only thing I can think of is links to the official transcription of floor speeches, if there is one (THOMAS?). Jason McHuff 20:47, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

I did some of that, thanks for noticing! I agree, it would be great to have online refs for those floor speeches. I'll hunt around some day if nobody gets there first! -Pete 09:02, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Photo Change

I reverted the change in the photo back to the old one. The new photo that was uploaded was marked for deletion because it did not have the proper sourcing. If whomever did this fixes it then please feel free to change it back. Davidpdx 09:51, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Spouse

Why was his spouse's name removed? The reason given is "BLP" - but the Biography of Living Persons policy doesn't forbid naming spouses... (I'm not going to make this edit, since Congressman Blumenauer is a client of mny company's. However, I can verify personally that his wife is Margaret (Kirkpatrick) Blumenauer.)

Agreed, and since I have no conflict, I'm putting it back in. -Pete 20:41, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
