I always loved researching Wikipedia and when I realised you could actually add your own stuff to it quite easily I became even more interested.
Sadly, through editing wikipedia I have also learned that it is not really an reliable source of information, which I originally had it believed to be. I came to realize, that a determined editor, even when blocked many times, could quite easily circumvent this block and continue pushing his/her view. I continue to believe, that editing wikipedia on purely encyclopedic articles (like obscure German football leagues) is beneficiary but to get involved in any controversial articles is just a waste of time! However, sometimes I can't resist the temptation to "waste some time"!
I come from Germany (Monheim, Bavaria) originally which I use as an excuse for my shocking spelling (don't worry, it is no better in German!). I always liked to travel and have finally ended up living in Perth (
WA) now but working in Wiluna.
If you want to know what I m interested in, just follow my trail through wiki, but there is actually more that I like, I just don t know enough about most things to add anything usefull.

I' m quite interessted in football (some of you use the rude s-word for it) in general, in Germany and the world. Currently I'm trying to get a few articles together on the lower leagues of the German football league system. I've started with the Oberliga Bayern, and I'm "working my way up north". For a possible preview, have a look in User:EA210269/Sandbox and User:EA210269/Sandbox/1.
Apart from football and ice hockey, I've recently created the article Sidecarcross world championship. It is a bit of a tribute to my uncles who were all Sidecarcross racers in their time, and who all have a bad back now!
My 10.000 edit was an edit in my sandbox to the Gauliga article I was then writing. Done at 4:39, 14 May 2008.
