East Maine Conference Seminary, Bucksport, ME; from a c. 1907 postcard published by the Hugh C. Leighton Company, Portland, Maine. Opened by the Methodist Church in 1851, the secondary school operated until 1933. At right is the school's original building, Wilson Hall, erected in 1851. It was added in 1983 to the National Register of Historic Places.
