Description

A Grumman WF-2 Tracer of airborne early warning squadron VAW-11 Early Eleven, Carrier Air Group Twenty-One (CVG-21), unfolding its wings prior to launching from the aircraft carrier USS Hancock (CVA-19) on 23 August 1962. A month later the WF-2 would be redesignated E-1B.
