Dynamite Boy is a pop punk band from Austin, Texas. They are comprised of Sean Neil, Dusty Kohn, Adrian Munoz and Sam Rich. They allegedly disbanded in 2005 after a ten year run but due to recent posts on the band's MySpace this is unsure. However, they have been reuniting for one-off shows between 2006 and 2008.[1]

[edit] History
Dynamite Boy was formed in 1995 in Austin, Texas by four members Sean Neil, Andrew, Matt, and Scott. In 1996, the band recorded their first full length album, Hell is Other People, which was not released until 1998 through Offtime Records. They played shows throughout Texas over the next few years, before signing to Fearless Records in 1999, releasing their second full length, Finder's Keepers. They would go on to tour with bands such as The Ataris and No Use for a Name, before releasing their third album Somewhere in America, in 2001. From there, they would tour with bands such as The Offspring, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Further Seems Forever, Riddlin' Kids, Cruiserweight and Lost City Angels.[2]
After releasing one more album in 2004, Dynamite Boy disbanded in 2005. Sean Neil announced that the disbanding was a result of his desire to start a family.
Also in 2004, the band wrote and recorded the title track (same name as the film) for the short film Gay By Dawn[3].
On April 21, 2008, Punkbands.com reported that Dynamite Boy has reformed and would be playing at the Emo's in Austin on April 26th, although this was not the band's first reunion show; they previously got together for one-offs in both 2006 and 2007 in Austin.[1] Dynamite Boy has also announced that they will play a show on June 7, 2008, at the Red Eye Fly in Austin, Texas. Despite the additional shows, there is no definite indication of whether the band will do a full scale tour or begin writing a new album.
