The title "Sir" has been removed from this article however it is used in a variety of sources eg Centenary tribute to father of maternity care - University of Aberdeen, Lords Hansard, etc Is there a definitive list? what evidence do I need to reintroduce this? — Rod talk 13:00, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

I have removed Sir from the article name as it is against Wikipedia conventions to have Sir in the title of a page (with exceptions for baronets if you need to disambiguate). I'm not saying he isn't a knight. --Berks105 13:04, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
