[edit] A little bit about my background:

I grew up in Maine, but have also lived in Alabama and South Carolina.

I graduated from BJU in Greenville, SC with a BA in 1997 and an MA in 1999.

My degrees are in Bible, but I have taken extensive coursework in Greek, Creative Writing, Literature, as well as some in art and management. I worked in food service for fifteen years, mostly in various levels of management. I recently chose a career path change to follow my lifelong dream to work with computers, currently as a content manager and web developer.

I am married with three children, and a member of a local Baptist Church.

I enjoy video games, though my interest is more in the phenomenon than in playing, though I play a few hours a week. I also enjoy playing Risk 2210 & Godstorm. I've succesfully finished Nanowrimo for the last three years, and would like to publish some of my fiction in the future. I am also learning animation in Flash. My sandbox for personal web development is www.duckingham.net, though a quick perusal of the site shows most people how little spare time I've had the last few years in management.

With my recent career path change I've been able to spend much more time dabbling in various aspects of computers and web, and am thoroughly enjoying it.
