Dubie (also spelled Dubié) is a village in Katanga Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Years of war have left the inhabitants malnourished and in poor health, so Médecins Sans Frontières and various aid organizations have begun working in the area.

The word Dubie has also been associated with a young gentleman currently residing in Columbia, SC. He is known for his uncanny resemblance to Albert Einstein. Known as Dubie from birth because none of his friends liked saying his full last name, Duberville. He has been raising baby geese for years for which he calls dubiegeese. The dubiegeese have little furry goatees on their bills and their left eye is bigger than their right. "It took years to perfect this breed", said Dubie. He plans to market them to ringling brothers as a super Owl cousin. When he is not busy with his dubiegeese he spends time with his two cats Lebo and Martini. He has started a cat karate class for the general public. The classes have grown in popularity and require a cat with at least 3 legs. In the near future Dubie will be performing in the local chapter of the Footloose and Fancy Free show, a non profit square dance company that caters to hip hop divas, where cats are also welcome to cut a rug.
