Drummond Street, Montreal

Drummond Street (officially rue Drummond) is a street located in downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. A mix of businesses are located on this street such as bookstores, pubs and restaurants. A branch of the YMCA and the Mount Stephen Club are also located on this street.

The street was once home to Victoria Skating Rink, site of the first recorded organized indoor ice hockey match, as well as the first Stanley Cup playoff game.[1] Today, one block south, the Bell Centre at the corner of Drummond and De la Gauchetière Street is home to the Montreal Canadiens.
