[edit] Proposed deletion of Carnage of the Devils
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Carnage of the Devils, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Deletion of Carnage of the Devils
Hiya - you seem to be a new editor, so I'll say hi, and welcome to Wikipedia ! :-) The issue with your article is not that the book doesn't exist - that's easy enough to prove (incidentally, the link you gave on the articles talk page doesn't work...), but Wikipedia can't contain plots for every single book ever published - it would be a never ending process ! Wikipedia therefore requires books (and indeed any other article about any subject) to be notable to be included. Since opinions on whether something is notable or not will vary between different people, Wikipedia has a set of guidelines about different subjects. The one for works of fiction (which is what applies in this case) can be reached by clicking this. Unfortunately, this book doesn't (yet) meet these criteria - which is why I proposed deletion. Since you've contested the deletion by removing the 'prod' tag, I'm going to change it to an 'Article for deletion' - which is a process by which Wikipedia editors make a group decision - the article will then be kept or deleted as a result of that decision. Please don't feel as though you're being picked on - this is a standard Wikipedia process. Happy editing ! CultureDrone (talk) 22:06, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AfD Nomination: Carnage of the Devils
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that Carnage of the Devils meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.
Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Carnage of the Devils. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.
Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice?
