[edit] Wikified: March 2006
In order to comply with the Wikify order, I have taken the liberty of removing the entire page and starting over with new, updated, and correctly formatted information. --Kevin Walter 05:42, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Copyright Issues
Added image to the page, taken from the school's homepage. --Spike 19:10, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
- Fixed image copyright issues, image re-added. --Spike 14:36, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- Removed aforementioned image, replaced with school mascot. --Kevin Walter 10:34, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- Reverted image back to school's welcome picture. Leave it, it's bigger and better than the school's mascot image. If you wish to add the mascot image lower on the page, please do so. But do not remove the welcome photo from the article anymore. Thank you. --Spike 14:07, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- Removed aforementioned image, replaced with school mascot. --Kevin Walter 10:34, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Format: June 2006
Formatted the page to make it more uniform with most other DuPage highschools --Dhalls 02:41, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Satellite Imagery
I have taken a screenshot of the school from the USGS viewer, and made a few derivative works. Which of the following do you guys think is best?
For the time being I'll use the middle (darkened) one. --YbborTalk 01:16, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- Original looks fine to me. --Kevin Walter 01:56, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Downersgrovesouth.gif
Image:Downersgrovesouth.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 01:09, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
