According to the Brazilian Football Confederation official database, his correct name is Doniéber Alexander Marangão. If no one opposes, on July, 30, 2007 (one week from now) I will move the article to the name according to the Brazilian Football Confederation. --Carioca 01:54, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

On AS Roma's official site he is known as "Marangon" which is a Venetian surname, maybe "Marangão" is the brazilianization of his surname... --Gaúcho 17:17, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Or he was born as Marangão, but to obtain an Italian passport, change back to original spelling. Just leave him at COMMONLY KNOWN ONE. Matthew_hk tc 07:53, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
