[edit] PC for Privy Council?

At the top of the article, it shows Getty using the "PC" post-nominal, which means he served on the Queen's Privy Council for Canada, although I am unable to find any reference to this, and other facts (such as that he doesn't style himself as "Honourable" any more) lead me to believe he never served on the Privy Council.--RAult 05:58, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Looks like that's been removed now. Good eye.Garth of the Forest 08:55, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "following his success in negotiating Senate reform as part of the Charlottetown Accord"??

What's that about? There has been no meaningful Senate reform since 1982. The Charlottetown Accord and all of Mulroney's other attempts to mess up what Trudeau accomplished were doomed to fail, and did. Unless you subscribe to the theory that they (Meech, Charlottetown, etc.) were a smokescreen to distract the electorate from what was really going on. Garth of the Forest 08:55, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
