Dominic McGuire (born October 20, 1985 in San Diego, California) is an American basketball player. He is currently a power forward for the Washington Wizards in the National Basketball Association.

McGuire prepped at Lincoln High School in San Diego, subsequently attending Fresno State University, after a transfer from Cal.

McGuire was selected in the second round (47th overall) of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards. A 6'8" and 210 pounds, he was dubbed one of the draft's steals, after showing off impressive skills in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.[citation needed]
On April 16, 2008, McGuire got his first start in his NBA career, against the Orlando Magic.
