Dolores is a town in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is the head town of the Dolores Partido. The town settlement was officially founded by Ramón Lara on August 21, 1817.

  • March 9, 2008 – A Mar de Ajo-Buenos Aires intercity bus disregards the National Highway Route 2's train crossing signal and collides with a Buenos Aires-Mar del Plata nightly express train with 250 passenger on board on the outskirts of Dolores, in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, killing 26, and injuring 60[1].
