Dolce Vita (TVB)

Dolce Vita (港生活‧港享受) is an English information TV programme Television Broadcasts Limited in Hong Kong. It is hosted by Rabeea Yeung, Lorea Sola, Aimee Chan, Vaneese Toses, Jason Chan, Winnie Young, Francis Chan, Vinny Wan & Derek Li. The weekly programme follows the format of former TVB Pearl Lifestyle-magazine shows EYE ON HONG KONG (1988 - 1995), and CITYLIFE (1995 - 1999). EYE ON HONG KONG was launched in the late 1980's with hosts Deborah Moore (a former Miss HK finalist), and the late Keith Kwan. Subsequent hosts were Paul George, Paul Husband, Edward Bean, Katie Ledger (Ledger later returned to UK and became a news anchor on ITV), John Dykes, Gloria Wu Fontaine, & Oliver Tan. As EYE ON HONG KONG was relaunched as CITYLIFE (a project initiated by then newly appointed TVB AGM Alex Ying), some of the previous hosts to EYE ON HONG KONG moved on as anchors to the new programme. From 1995 to 1997, hosts to CITYLIFE were Flora Chan, Danny Fung, Fiona Carver, Annamarie Wood, & Geoffrey Wong. Wood left the show in 1996 as she emmigrated to the US, while Fung jumped ship to launch a magazine programme on NBC Asia. In 1997, Fung returned to become Executive Producer for CITYLIFE. Flora Chan moved on to develope her fledging career as an actress, while Fiona Carver returned to the UK. New presenters Maria Chen, Josephine Chim, & Jacqui Stafford became the staple to CITYLIFE until the program went into hiatus in june 1999.

With the launch of DOLCE VITA, the lifestyle programme features fine dining, fashion and other latest leisure goods/activities available in Hong Kong. It also interviews English speaking artists, celebrities or fashion designers who visit Hong Kong.

It is shown at 9:10 pm every Thursday and repeated every Friday midnight after News Roundup and 10:35am every Saturday.
