[edit] no. of episodes
Why does the infobox say: No. of episodes 21 x 50 min, 1 x 120 min? Isn't it 14 episodes of Doc Martin + maybe 2 films + saving grace? JanCK 09:11, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
About the no. of episodes by user JanCK I know because I've got Doc Martin Series 1 and Series 2 on DVD. Series one contains 6 episodes, series 2 7 episodes. There's the Xmas special "on the edge" (1x120 min episode) And series 3 has 7 episodes; found it on ITV site. Result a total of 21 episodes + one 120 min episode as found on the wikipedia page.Ally be 17:48, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 15 October 2007 episode
I would say that the statement being added by User:Neilofwatford is a fair contribution if a reference is provided - I would propose giving him or someone a week or so to give a reference to some complaints to prevent an edit war - if there had been a significant number of complaints, one of the news websites would have picked up on it. Worth noting [1] - the episode got about 8 million viewers so if a load of people had been offended it's going to be picked up on. Halsteadk 16:00, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Neilofwatford seems to have declined to find a reference and persists in re-adding his statement regarding the "shocking" appearance of non-family material in a post-watershed programme. I have added a caution to his user talk and I now consider it fair game to remove his statement immediately if he doesn't provide a reliable reference. Halsteadk 10:06, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Autism
the Doc displays many autistic spectrum traits, specifically AS, but this hasn't been mentioned here. think it was referenced in S03E03. dreamcatcher23 03:07, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Doc-Martin.jpg
Image:Doc-Martin.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Regular Cast
Re: Jazmine Simpson as Natalie Turner (2007-)
Jazmine Simpson does not appear to be credited in the closing credits of the programme, and offhand I cannot recall the character she is listed as portraying. Also (2007-) implies that she will be a returning character in the next series. Who is she, and is there any evidence to support this implication?
Similarly, the revision of the reference to Stewart Wright to read (2004-2005, 2008-) implies that the character of Mark Mylow, who had apparently been working as a plumber in Poland, will be returning. Again, is there any evidence for this? In any event, as far as I am aware, a fourth series is highly unlikely to be aired before 2009 (so 2008- seems misleading at best). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.221.133.226 (talk) 11:42, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Episode guide
Please can I remind editors of this article that copying material from other websites, or linking to sites with illegally copied material is strictly not permitted. WP:COPYVIO If you don't comply with official policies, the best you can hope for is that your "hard work" will be deleted; or you will be banned. There have been regular occurrences of material being copied from itv.com and other episode guides into this article. Halsteadk (talk) 16:09, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Series 4
I read recently that series 4 will most likely air in 2009, but I don't remeber where I read it! Derekbd (talk) 01:30, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
