[edit] The Health Network

There was a cable network called The Health Network that existed in the 90s and early 2000s. It was later replaced on my cable system by Discovery Health. However, an old DirecTV brochure I have lists both Discovery Health and The Health Network. The latter's website no longer exists but redirects to the former. Anyone know about this? -- M (speak/spoken) 00:39, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] FCC Blackout, anyone know what this means?

In my area, Springfield VA, the Discovery Health Channel, channel 74 through Cox Communications, has been blacked-out. The screen is black with the following message: "BLACKOUT FCC RULES MANDATE THAT THIS PROGRAM BE BLACKED-OUT IN YOUR AREA". Has anyone seen this before, or know anything about it?

[edit] The Health Network

I see i'm not the only one that remembers DirecTV's former channel of The Health Network. I'll dig up what i can on it. RingtailedFoxTalkContribs 20:48, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Looks like the two services co-existed for a while before the Health Network was merged into Discovery Health. [1] [2] [3]. Ultimately, it was re-branded as "FitTV". RingtailedFoxTalkContribs 21:26, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
