Dion Islands

Dion Islands (67°52′S, 68°43′W) is a group of small islands and rocks lying in the north part of Marguerite Bay, 6 miles (10 km) southwest of Cape Alexandra, Adelaide Island. Discovered by the French Antarctic Expedition, 1908-10, and named by Charcot for the Marquis Albert de Dion, who donated three motor sledges and whose De Dion-Bouton works produced equipment for the expedition.
