Dimerocerataceae is one of four superfamilies of the Tornoceratatina suborder, a member of the Goniatitida order. They are an extinct group of ammonoid, which are shelled cephalopods related to squids, belemnites, octopi, and cuttlefish, and more distantly to the nautiloids.
