This belongs on my user page. I can't edit that, so I'll put it here.

I have been blocked permanently. I've talked with some people, and while they tried to be reasonable, they were uninterested in honestly helping, as they are fully tied up in being part of the problem, not the solution. I guess I could instigate some moronic and time-sucking bureaucratic process, but I'd rather be doing something, if not productive, at least mildly interesting with my time.

There is no process to look through, no council that decided this, no end to the block. I made a foul-mouthed rant on a bot's talk page - a bot that got the owner desysopped because of the number of complaints against it - and have been permablocked by one guy who self-identifies with a sad-sack ghost character from children's fiction.

Congratulations to the people who I fought with denying the holocaust - you get a temp block for a month... but you corrected a typo once, we must AGF! Congratulations to the people who wanted to replace the article on "Michael Jackson" with "he has a small wee wee and has sex with kids" - come back in 72 hours, who knows if those three dozen vandalisms really came from YOU at that anonymous IP address, go edit some more!

Spend months trying to improve the project, though. Correct endless minor typos. Usher articles through FAC. Vandal fight. Substantially add text to many articles. Create others.

Then lose your temper once, against a bot which runs around telling people how to fix its legalistic nitpicks rather than fixing anything itself, a bot which generates FAR more complaint than praise. You're blocked. Forever.

So long. I'd say thanks for all the fish, but I haven't even got a mackerel's worth back out of this infernal waste of my time, energy and intellect.
