[edit] Team Size Restrictions
While official documents say teams have to be between 5 and 7 members, to lower limit of this is not enforced. I know of teams that register with four students, and I've seen teams perform with only two. Do we write the de facto rule or the de jure rule in the article? --Perimosocordiae 01:25, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
Per the Rules of the Road for program year 2005-6, page 7 "Teams may compete with fewer than seven team members, but in order to be considered a team, there must be at least two members." Ardurbin 20:36, 22 June 2006 (UTC)ardurbin
at globals this year, there was a roundabout courage team with only two members
i think that altought there seems to be many different views, it is the teams heart's who decide. i mean...wheres the love ya'll?
[edit] Helpful Items
Here are some things that could be added to the article to make it more helpful and informative:
- Including the box and ball logo would be a nice addition
- Sections that talk about the other programs that DI is branching into (i.e. project outreach, tech effects, etc.), and include that program's logo
- A table of past challenges, probably beginning in 2000, organized by year and challenge type

- I personally prefer a table of challenges with the newest challenges on the top. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cccwiki (talk • contribs) 13:01, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks! Those ideas sound good. We need to be sure to get permission from DI before using the logo, though. I'm not sure exactly how to legally do this in Wikipedia, so help would be appreciated. --Perimosocordiae 22:44, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- I think a low resolution image of the logo would fall under fair use using the {Logo} tag. If not, I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult --Hoagie3000 19:53, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Challenge Table
I've just put up a table of the challenges. All of the rows have the challenges that I could put together, however some (particularly in the 1st year) don't fit into the column as they are titled. They have gone to more of a structured challenge type, and I would like to reflect that, but if anyone has any other ideas of how to accomplish that, that would be helpful. Also, I couldn't find the rising stars challenges for the first 3 years, so I'm not sure if they were even there, but if anyone else knows what they were, that would help greatly to complete the table. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:DestinationImaginationLogo.png
Image:DestinationImaginationLogo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:48, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] New Userbox
For all DI participants, I have made a userbox that you may post on your user pages. Just add {{User:Juthani1/Userboxes/Destination Imagination}} --Juthani1 (talk) 21:56, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Where's the pins??
When I searched for DI, I was expecting a huge article on pins. If anyone has been to global finals, they know that pin trading is THE main event there. Even many of the parents of the kids get caught up in it. This is the biggest thing that happens at global finals, and I believe it should be included. Anyone else agree?
