Desiree Washington

Desiree Washington (born 1973), a native of Coventry, Rhode Island, was an eighteen-year-old Miss Black America beauty pageant contestant representing her home state of Rhode Island when she was raped by boxer Mike Tyson in an Indianapolis hotel room on July 19, 1991.
Tyson was convicted of the crime and served 3 years of a 6-year sentence in prison, but maintains his innocence.
