[edit] Disambiguate?

I object to "D.O.C." linking to this page. I think DOC is much more commonly associated with "department of corrections" in various US, and possibly non-US states. Therefore, I think there should at least be a disambiguation page for "D.O.C." Wbbigtymer 19:55, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

‘I object’ seems a bit strong! But I don’t see any problem with your turning D.O.C. into a disambiguation page. Or, easier and better, make it redirect to DOC, which is already a disambiguation page. In either case do make sure to fix any double redirects, though. (There will not be many.) —Ian Spackman 12:16, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

The page says wine can only get this certifcation if it is in a bottle containg at least 5l of wine, but a .75 l bottle of DOCG Chianti is right next to it.

[edit] Non-wine DOCs

Do these actually still exist? Or has DOC been superceded by DOP/PDO for those purposes? —Ian Spackman 11:58, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
