[edit] Merger with Irish Labour Party

There's a paragraph missing! One moment we have DL winning a bye election and next moment they are leading the PLP. --Red King 17:06, 29 July 2005 (UTC)

Any better like that? I haven't changed the text, just added headings which I think clarify things. Palmiro 12:04, 30 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Defunct UK political party

I don't quite understand the objection to this category. As DL was organised (well, not very) in the North, surely it qualifies as a UK party? Palmiro | Talk 09:48, 21 October 2005 (UTC)

I agree - especially as, for most practical purposes, it is the party formerly known as Sinn Féin / Sinn Féin the Workers Party/ The Workers Party and was very definitely active in Northern Ireland. --Red King 14:41, 21 October 2005 (UTC)

quite incorrect. The Workers' Party continues to be active in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Democratic Left was a breakaway from it which has since been dissolved into the Labour Party (of the Republic of Ireland). Coolavokig 17:54, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
