At the top of the page, it says the Democrat Party is conservative. Then the text goes on talking about it as a liberal party. Maybe a clearer distinction should be made, such as:

Their social politics are conservative, as they are against abortion and gay rights, while their economical politics are liberal, as they believe in low taxes and a small government.

Yes, the party is officially called the "Democrat Party" in English — see website. Jpatokal 05:27, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I've reverted User:Nightstallion's move as no evidence was given as to why "Democratic Party" is "correct". As counterevidence, I offer their website (democrat.or.th), their membership listing in the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats [1], articles in The Nation and Bangkok Post (Thailand's largest English newspapers) and 122k Google hits. "Democratic Party" seems to used primarily by overseas media who find the actual name odd, which it is, but it's not WP's job to unilaterally "fix" it. Jpatokal 12:29, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
