Dynamic date conversion
Every year and every day of recorded history (based on the Gregorian calendar) has a page on Wikipedia. The year pages (e.g. 2006) record all events in a year chronologically, while the day pages (e.g., April 25) record all events that happened on that day, in any year. Some months have their own pages (e.g. January 2006); these mostly are for the archived current events. If there are links around the day and year (e.g., April 25, 2006) the software automatically will convert this date based on your user preferences to your preferred format. This is why all dates should be wikilinked, even if the links will be redundant.

Hello All,
Sharing of knowledge is all what Internet was made for. And Wikipedia, being a OPEN resource of knowledge, meets the each & every aspect I can ever expect from an Online Encyclopedia. From my very 1st day of Wikipedia use, I was trying to contribute in this project. I could have do that by donating this project. But as a Student, I thought it isn't a great Idea. So, I joined here as a USER, to have an room for contributing to direct updating pages wherever I can. I love Open Source & Free Software projects & I join them whenever I can and try to contribute my best.
I know, You will think, I am a late Wikipedia Updater, but I took my time to know it well & eventually confirmed myself If I really can help Wikipedia or not. But, coming across all through, I've found If not much, but I can always Update minor changes day by day & the Topics of My Interests.
Keep GEEKING around... Do Wiki more.
