Deborah Kara Unger (born 1966[2]) is a Canadian actress.
Unger was born in Vancouver, British Columbia to a nuclear disposal specialist mother and a gynecologist father.[3] Before becoming an actress, she studied economics and philosophy at University of British Columbia. She later became the first Canadian to be accepted into Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art.
Unger has been featured in such commercially successful films as The Game and Payback, while she has also found critical acclaim in such films as Keys To Tulsa and the Salton Sea.
When Unger is not working, she resides in either Vancouver or Los Angeles, California, U.S..
