The Deanery Church of England High School is a Secondary school in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England. It currently has around 1,600 pupils and it consistently gets good GCSE grades, amongst the best in the Wigan borough. Recent OFSTED reports gave the school mostly satisfactory ratings but with some good ratings.[1]

The Deanery High School is a Church of England school, receiving 15% of its funding via the church and through fundraising.

The school's campus is located in the town centre, and can be reached easily by bus and train. The majority of the school is within 1970 buildings, but the C-block quadrangles were part of the original All Saints School. Later additions such as the D-block and sports hall were built more recently.

The school has five houses, there were originally four but Cavell was added in 2006. They are named after famous Christian influences:
Augustine - After Augustine of Hippo.
Becket - After Thomas Becket.
Butler - After Josephine Butler.
Cavell - After Edith Cavell.
Temple - After William Temple.

The Deanery have recently obtained a new Head-Master, previously working in an all-girls High School.

The Deanery High School also has a 6th form college; for students studying a range of A levels. However some of the former High School students opt to go to other colleges in the area, such as Winstanley college and Runshaw College.
