The section on USI is inaccurate. The reforms never reached Congress to be defeated, as they were submitted too late. The author has omitted this, and the section includes a lot of weasel words, particularly in regard to the Fianna Fail issue. The "reforms" were drawn up by four Universities, DCU, UCD, TCD and Maynooth, all of which had a Fianna Failer as President. The other Colleges who wanted reform supported "Plan B" drawn up by the likes of ben Archibald, not the "Fianna 4" plan outlined in this article. Lets not re-write history here, folks! 140.203.12.242 18:03, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Democracy and all that jazz...

Isn't it the case that DCUSU had a disaffiliation referendum after congress? Their ideas were shot down so they decided to leave, rather than accept a democratic decision of USI Congress?
