David Reid Lowell (born October 28, 1956 in Ithaca, New York) is an American writer and full-trace medium and channel who writes for major international magazines like Sedona Journal of Emergence, Spiral Journey, Holistic Review and other publications. He lives is Woodstock, Connecticut and Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.


The Lowell genealogy originates in Lowell, Massachusetts, Cambridge, Massachusetts and Boston, Massachusetts. He is known for spiritual writing and being one of America's remaining pure trance-medium channels. He knew Jane Roberts the channel of Seth, and The Rev. Mae York one of the founders of The Spiritual Church, both on a deeply personal nature. He also knew Elwood Babbitt another noted channel.

At his retreat in Sugar Hill, Hew Hampshire he and other channels would have shared sessions that were provoking and enlightening. He has toured throughout the north-east of America and been a reoccurring channeling-performer at The Foundation of Light in Ithaca, New York.

He is considered a one of the fore-front channeling-performers and celebrities in the gay community. Mr. Lowell has volunteered and worked relentless with HIV patients, also he has worked on fund raisers for Ovarian Cancer and The Spiritual Church and many other fund raising activities.

Mr. Lowell is friends with many other interesting New England artistic and creative energies such as Laurie Cabot, her website is, [5] the true witch of Salem, Massachusetts. Mr. Lowell and Ms. Cabot share a common bond of their New England heritage which is deeply rooted in New England history.

There is an old poem that was taught in schools which goes: The Abbott’s spoke to the Cabot’s and Cabot’s spoke to the Lodges, the Lodges spoke to the Lowell’s and the Lowell’s only answer to God.
