I think the editor dislikes Pleat as much as I do! No idea why ITV continue to employ him. Surely his only fan is his mother?

personally i don't have a problem with pleat, but that's just an opinion. the article needs more balance on the commentary front.

what are you on about? everything in the commentary section was accurate!! he said EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE!!!!

---

i agree with "-merm-", david pleat is the shit! and not the good kind!

do you guys use to post on special reserve?

thank you -j nash- I believe the commentary section is not "unbalanced". how can the truth be "unbalanced"? If it is not favourable to his commentary, that is because his commentary is genuinely awful - everything in the section is correct.

I believe it was only removed due to a bitter Spurs fan!

[edit] "Of Jewish origin"

I'm removing this from the introductory paragraph - it is unnecessary information, especially for the introductory paragraph.--Macca7174 14:37, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

I don't really know how to post a discussion but I want to highlight something wrong in the article. Whoever said "born and bred in Salford" was about Ryan Giggs was wrong, Pleat was talking about Paul Scholes. I remember because I was watching the game.

Can someone change it? Ta!

[edit] renowned for his incontrovertible genius?!?!

"Pleat is renowned for his incontrovertible genius as a football commentator and incomparable intelligence."

Did the kerb crawler himself write that in? CITE YOUR SOURCES FOR CHRISSAKES!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 89.247.94.247 (talk) 19:22, 7 May 2007 (UTC).

This is the best article on wikipedia!!!!!--Jaybzjaybz 21:44, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Original research

Various editors keep re-introducing a lengthy critique of Pleat's commentary career. This is clearly WP:Original Research and therefore should not be included. LeContexte (talk) 12:39, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
