This needs more referencing and sources - It only had one and I added one. I added some text to the intro in an attempt to characterize the music, but I don't know all of these songs, so please improve what I have written if you can. Best regards, -- Ssilvers 02:39, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

I don't know many of the songs, either, but I did find what I believe to be the source of the PBS article, and so have cited that, also, as it is a good primary source. (the Gottfried book). I also quoted a bit from the NY Times review, which has a bit of detail about a few of the dance numbers (for example, the shoes nailed down, the ice-cream costumes). I did a search on 1)Lexis-Nexis 2)google for anything about the proposed revival but could not find anything. JeanColumbia 11:58, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
