NOTE - I just completed, after lots of research, the article on the great Marius Petipa. Ive also included some great pictures and a complete list of his works for the Imperial Ballet, along with trivia/details of each production that is interesting. The article is rather lengthy, but considering the slim pickings online concerning this man who is the single most influential person in ballet history, and the inspiration of Balanchine - the greatest choreographer of the ballet in modern times, I think it is more than justified.
