Daniel Nicholas Noonan (born July 14, 1965 in Lincoln, Nebraska) is a former American football defensive end in the NFL. He played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1987-1992 and Green Bay Packers also in 1992.

While Danny Noonan's rookie year showed promise and despite some productive years early in his career he never developed into a Bob Lilly or Randy white type player that the Cowboys envisioned when they Drafted him as the eleventh player in the first round in the 1987 draft . Danny Noonan came into the NFL as a 6,3 1/2 288 player but several years later he was about 265 which indicates that he had a problem maintaining enough weight to be a force at defensive tackle.
