Damien Blanch is an Australian rugby league player.

Damien Blanch has signed a two-year contract with the Wakefield Wildcats. [1]

He is also eligible to play for Ireland.

Blanch's position of choice is as a winger, but he can also operate as a centre.

Blanch played for the Widnes Vikings in National League One.

Widnes' free-scoring winger Damien Blanch signed from Castleford Tigers on loan whilst the Yorkshire club were in the Super League. [2]

Blanch then signed on permanently at the Halton Stadium.

Blanch had struggled to get much game time with the Castleford Tigers and also was on the fringes of the first team at the Penrith Panthers. [3]

Blanch had however been a revelation with Widnes, in 2007 scoring 14 tries in 18 games. [4]

Blanch received an international call-up from Ireland in November 2006. [5]
