[edit] Re-write

I'm planning a major re-write (as major as such a short article can be), including an expanded climbing section, checking the facts on the king of dalkey, getting some new pictures, formatting, etc. If you have any comments, the unfinished work-in-progress article is here. Let me know your comments.

  • Have a look at Dalkey Quarry; I've moved all the climbing material there. Rwxrwxrwx 21:35, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Needs a minor re-write at least because Bono and Enya and one or two other names you mentioned live in Killiney!

[edit] County Council?

I've changed 'County of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown' to 'local council areal'. Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown is not a county, regardless of the affectations of its inhabitants.

Reverted. Nothing to do with the inhabitants, the Local Government Act elevated Dl-R, Fingal and South Dublin to county status. BastunBaStun not BaTsun 22:58, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] eddie irvine

Eddie Irvine also used to, but he didn't get on with the locals.

the real dalkey lies in the pubs, best pint of guiness in dublin in the club bar on a cold winters night, just the same, the best pint of cider to be had at the in on a hot summers day
